Business Tip – Talk about what you do and still get paid

Have you ever been talking with a prospective client and things are going really well – you both are comfortable and relaxed.  Then, you want to ask for their business and stutter around and cough a little.  When you finally ask they say something along the lines of “I’ll think about it and get back to you.”

Being able to effectively convey what you do for people is the number one way to grow your business. No single form of marketing comes near the results that this will bring you financially, personally and emotionally.

With either our Gold Cup Website Package, Silver Cup Website Packages or a Coaching Package, you get templates and worksheets that will take you through the “5 Steps to Developing an Online Presence” so you know exactly what to say, how and when so you can close the deal and get paying clients.

3 Steps to Attract More Clients

There are 3 main steps to attracting the perfect clients.  These steps need to be lined out in your copy – whether its your blog, articles, sales page, etc.  Implementing even one of these strategies will help to convert more prospects into buyers:

1. Have an attention-getting headline.  There are several different formulas you can use for whatever your goal might be.  Are you helping them get what they want?  Are you addressing problems or fears?  Are you discussing fact or fiction?  Know your goal and what your client base responds to.

2.  List the Benefits of working with you – not just the Features.  It’s important to know the difference here.  Say you are selling a video camera…a Feature would be a rechargeable battery but the Benefit of that would be the fact that rechargeable batteries are less of an impact on the environment than disposables.  So the Benefit will clearly outline what the Feature will help them achieve.

3.  Build your Testimonials. This is by far one of the fastest and easiest ways to build credibility in your field. Use these testimonials anywhere you publish your content – videos, articles, blog posts, sales pages, etc.

Business Tip – Sticky Content

Sticky content is any type of content on your web site that attracts people and keeps them there for longer periods of time. Consider your blog, articles, audio, videos and other resources, to be the “sticky stuff” that keeps visitors at your site. There is, however, a point where your content can be too sticky. If you give everything away, your potential customers won’t need to buy. You will have attracted freebie-seekers and they will not convert to sales.
